What is a 4-piece grinder?
A 4-piece grinder has four sections: a lid with teeth, a grinding chamber, a collection chamber with a fine mesh screen, and a kief catcher at the bottom. Ground flower drops into the collection chamber, and the tiny resin glands (kief) sift through the screen into the catcher. 4-piece vs 2-piece grinder
A 2-piece grinder is simpler and lighter, but it has no screen, so you can't collect kief. If saving kief matters to you, a 4-piece is the better grinder.
How do I get kief out of the catcher?
Unscrew the bottom chamber and scrape it out with the included pollen scraper. Replacement kief screens are available if yours ever tears.
What is the difference between a 3-piece and a 4-piece grinder?
A 3-piece has no screen, so kief falls into the same chamber as your flower. A 4-piece adds a mesh screen and a kief catcher, keeping them separate.

How do I use a 4-piece grinder?
Break buds into small pieces, place them between the teeth away from the center pin, put the lid on and twist 8 to 12 times. Open the collection chamber for your ground flower.
